Tensioning System
The manual crank system uses a spring-tension mechanism and a patented roller guide. The string is routed around the roller guide and held between the coated gripper plates. Turning the crank applies the selected tension until the brake lever releases.
Operation and Functions
The required tension is selected using a rotary adjustment knob and a linear scale. The scale is divided into 3 lb increments, while the rotary knob enables fine adjustment in 1 lb steps.
An adjustable travel stop limits the movement of the tensioner and prevents contact with the racquet mounting system during stringing. The turntable can be locked in any position for convenient operation.
Racquet Mounting System
The six-point Quick Mount system supports the racquet frame at six positions. Adjustable centre supports and swivelling shoulder supports allow the mounting system to be adapted evenly to different frame shapes.
Clamp System
The fixed Quick Action metal string clamps rotate and feature a dual-action design. The clamp head and clamp base are operated independently. Diamond-dust-coated gripping surfaces provide secure string retention, while the clamping pressure can be adjusted for different string types and gauges.
Additional Equipment
The durable die-cast aluminium base incorporates a large tool tray with a removable foam pad. Red touch points and wayfinding decals identify frequently used controls and adjustment points.
The tabletop model can be combined with a separately available Gamma floor stand.
