Tensioner
The manual drop-weight tensioner allows the required stringing tension to be set mechanically. Its two-piece drop weight covers different tension ranges and can be adjusted for lower stringing tensions.
The rotating ratchet string gripper features parallel jaws with diamond-coated gripping surfaces, providing secure contact with the string during tensioning.
Operation and functions
The permanently engraved tension scale makes it easier to position the drop weight. Additional wayfinding decals identify the appropriate scales and guide the user through the relevant operating steps.
The selected tension is reached when the tension bar rests horizontally in relation to the racquet frame. The ratchet mechanism allows the position of the string gripper to be adjusted incrementally.
Racquet mounting system
The six-point Quick Mount system secures the racquet frame with two centre supports and four lateral shoulder supports. The support positions can be adjusted to suit the individual frame.
Protective pads and shoulder-support adapters for badminton racquets are included.
Clamp system
The fixed die-cast aluminium clamps move across the turntable. The clamp head and clamp base operate independently, allowing the string and the clamp position to be locked separately.
The Quick Action clamp bases are secured using a lever. Diamond-coated gripping surfaces increase friction on the string, while the clamping pressure can be adjusted to suit the string type and gauge.
Additional equipment
The high-strength die-cast aluminium base has a durable painted finish. A spacious tool and accessory tray keeps frequently used equipment within easy reach during stringing.
