The Gamma 8900 ELS SC is an electronically controlled stringing machine designed for demanding frequent stringers, clubs and professional use. This floor-standing model combines a precisely adjustable electronic constant-pull linear tensioner with a fully self-centring 6-point Suspension Mounting System, semi-automatic clamp bases and extensive digital settings. Electronic linear pull tensioner with extensive settings
The electronic constant-pull linear tensioner continuously readjusts the pulling force during the tensioning process. The required stringing tension can be set between 5 and 40 kg and adjusted in fine increments of 0.1 kg.
Separate tension values can be stored for the main and cross strings, allowing individual stringing specifications to be implemented directly through the control unit.
The pulling speed can be adjusted between 30 and 100 percent. This allows the pulling process to be slowed down for particularly stiff or sensitive strings. Pre-stretch and knot functions are also available, with individually adjustable values of up to 30 percent.
LCD controls with nine memory settings
The LCD control panel provides central access to tension, pulling speed, pre-stretch, knot function and the separate settings for main and cross strings.
Nine permanent memory positions can store frequently used combinations of tension and other machine settings. A basic operating mode is also available for temporary settings that are not permanently saved.
When switched on, the machine automatically carries out a self-diagnostic test. An information screen can also display the total number of tensioning cycles performed by the machine.
Integrated string length meter
The integrated string length meter allows the required amount of string to be measured directly from a reel or set. The string is guided through the measuring unit and can then be cut to the required length.
This is particularly useful when regularly working with reels, as the required amount of string can be prepared directly at the workstation.
Self-centring 6-point Suspension Mounting System
The fully self-centring 6-point mounting system allows the racket frame to be positioned quickly and symmetrically. The two central mounting towers are adjusted together, helping different racket sizes remain evenly aligned on the turntable.
Six support points distribute the forces generated during stringing around the frame. V-shaped shoulder supports improve access to the grommets and make it easier to feed the strings through the racket.
Shoulder support covers for badminton rackets are included. Additional specialist frame supports are available separately.
Semi-automatic clamp bases and premium clamps
The semi-automatic clamp bases are secured to the turntable using a locking lever. Lowering the string clamp automatically releases the locked base. Alternatively, the base can be released using a separate rocker lever.
The diamond-coated universal string clamps feature four teeth and are designed for a wide range of string types and gauges. Clamping pressure can be adjusted to hold the string securely without placing unnecessary stress on it.
Convenient operation with foot pedal and turntable brake
The tensioning process can be activated and released either directly at the linear tensioner or using the supplied foot pedal. This keeps both hands free for guiding and positioning the string.
The manual turntable brake allows the mounting system to be locked in any required position. This supports particular working steps and keeps the racket securely positioned.
Height-adjustable floor-standing model with storage
The height-adjustable stand allows the working height to be adapted to the individual user. A self-locking mechanism helps secure the machine at the selected position.
The integrated string reel holder can accommodate several reels and can be positioned so that the string feeds directly towards the string length meter.
The robust aluminium housing includes a padded tool tray and two integrated drawers. Tools, adapters and other accessories can therefore be stored directly on the machine.
